Jonah Atkins is a photographer born and raised in the southern Ontario countryside, focusing mainly in portraiture. Growing up on a farm, Jonah's eye was trained by finding ways to connect his subjects with their surroundings, rather than isolating them. His passion for the environment and striking compositions go hand-in-hand, while often balancing a good sense of deadpan humour all at once. Jonah is also a devout film enthusiast; an interest has played an enormous part in influencing his unique eye for lighting and framing.
